Now since she is older, approx 6 months, both of her vets believe she has the Lab in her,w/ boarder collie. Alot whose been around her, say they can really see the BC personallity. Very loyal and playful + full of energy. Relatively healthy.

BABY GIRL

Gypsy new little comforter fits exactly in her kennel. I did find a great deal on it. Walgreens has them on sale for only $10 bucks, I am not sure how long they will be on sale. But I am tempted to go get a couple more. They are really nice and says they are washable too.
My cats decided they like it too.
Really I left the kennel door open for about 45 minutes and and she stayed right there chewing on her treat. she really loves it.
I am still working with Gypsy on her house manners. She still really goes wild in the other part of the house (other than in the kitchen, where she has been allowed in there from time I found here.) So This has been a chore. I will not hardly let her off her leash when she is in there. She wants to run wild and jump up onto everything. I h realize it is is excitement but I don't feel like I can say to her "GO PLAY" because she does as I have described. She behaves beautifully when I have her on the leash and she is in her training session, and I am standing with her or Sitting right down there on the floor with her. I thought if I put a bed in there I might be able to use it as a training tool while she is in there. So we still have alot of work.
Now, I think as I said before my kitties love it too... will have to address their needs.
=^..^= *..* =^..^=
I refuse to tell them they can't get on that. lol
One other thing.... I do not know why... but really have noticed since she returned from the vets office from being spayed. She is very reluctant to obeying my commands. But, will say... she is not being BAD... Just has taken 3 or 4 steps back. So I am re-enforcing her skills. The commands she is becoming reluctant on are her very basic skills... such as SIT, WAIT, LAY DOWN & OFF, even her loose leash walking she wants to have the control and run... It is nearly impossible to have her listen if she isn't on her leash. So we are going back from square one on these stages of training too.
Her vets office is wonderful, I don't believe it is anything they did that caused this. They all love animals there and are very kind to them, never am I saying any mistreatment. Just maybe the fact they didn't make her adhere to commands and let her have more free - run ???
Too, I know she just had her surgery and her first few days at home I myself was more lacks on commands. so it maybe just the fact that it was the sequence of the timing.
This week I believe she will bounce back and will make a point to work with her more. I think since she is back to 100% I will see in her that she will be listening better.
I did find a park close to our home, I am planning on taking her over. I think she will like it. It is not a doggie park that lets them loose. but does welcome dogs on the leash... Truthfully, I am not egar to have her off her leash yet anyway... I have been getting her used to being in our yard without her leash on. Only when I am absolutely present with her though. She is doing pretty good with this, does need more training to be w/o a leash.
I do have a goal of being able to have her w/o her leash but I don't believe she is ready.... yet. Nor, am I ready.
One answer to some of the problems I seem to have is I think her engergy level is high as most labs do have. I want her to be able to benifit from my fenced in yard. Spend her energy romp and play. But yet, I still training her to stay off the plants and not want to dig, chew nor pull up or tromple them and stay out of the gardens. It is a hard mix to be someone whom really works in my yard and to have a dog... I don't know if I am asking to much from her. I am being paitent... tho she wants to be a WILD CHILD.

It is nice to meet other bloggers, thanks for leaving me a comment, Paula :)
I can see you're doing such a good job with your pets, they are all adorable! I didnt get used to taking care of pets, but we have a rottweiler and a german shepherd here, taken cared of by my brother.
