Little Ms GYPSY & Friends

Family friendly blog about a little orphaned pup finding a new home. Baby Bear Cub when I first found her. Sweet and friendly. Now since she is older, approx 6 months, both of her vets believe she has the Lab in her,w/ boarder collie. Alot whose been around her, say they can really see the BC personallity. Very loyal and playful + full of energy. Relatively healthy.

VET VISIT

Gypsy is fine...... Don't Panic!!! She is going to get Spayed tomorrow. She had been scheduled to go in March 28th... But, if you read back you will find we had to re-schedule. So the time has come... and I am glad it is here. But then I worry for my little baby girl. I hope all goes oks. I am keeping Faith and tucking her in my prayers.

I will update you on how she does... I am sure she will do fine.
I still new at being a mommy for a puppy ... I must sound like truly a new Mommy. lol

Oh, poor Gypsy. Don't worry, she'll be fine. When Zelda was spayed, she was almost back to normal the next day. You just have to be really careful about her getting too active. Keep her in her crate for most of the couple days after, to prevent her pulling her stitches.
Also, don't be alarmed if she thorws up a lot, shakes, cries.... all of the above. Zelda did all of that and I was freaking out! She wouldn't eat, so I couldn't give her the pain medication. Make sure you give Gypsy something really yummy to eat. I gave Zelda ham and cheese after trying just about everything, and she finally ate it.
Hope all goes well, I'll be thinking of her!

I appeciate you tips. I will probably be nervous wreck when I go to pick her up... My dear neighbor just ask if I would like to have her go with me to pick her up. I thought that was sweet she offer, I took her up on the suggestion. She really likes & loves Gypsy too... I know plenty of doggies go through getting spayed but I do worries about her. I know she will be oks. Too, I feel so strongly about how many homeless and unwanted animals there are out there in this big world. This was a given to have done for her.
I had to be a strong Mommy for her... *..*

I will give you update after I get her home and settled and myself calm enough to sit at pc for 5 minutes lol I will probably be at her side for the next 24 hours... I won't even blink... taking my eyes off her. lol

I did build her beddie up to be really soft and with all fresh blankies for her.

I Put her favorite Teddy Bear in there for her too.

I took her othe lil favorite toy with her this morning to be with her while she was waiting to have her surgery. I hope it helped.

She my lil girl don't you know?

As soon as I can will let you know how she is doing k.
