About Me
- Name: Paula
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
I am a pretty simple country gal in a big city... I love Indianapolis, tho, I believe my heart belongs to the country life. I returned to my homestate of Indiana, in April of 2001. I purchased a 1890 home, in a quaint little neighborhood that has been coming back and fell in love with it. It definately needed alot of attention. I have lived in IN, FL, LA & Germany... I have been grateful for the wonderful experiances... No place like home. I come from a large family, and they are very important to me. Both of my parents are from Indiana, my roots & values have been definately passed down. My son and his wife and 3 beautiful adoring children are "THE APPLE OF MY EYE!" (I am O'ma.) This was the hardest part of moving back home. They do understand why I came back... and we do make the extra effort to keep our relationship strong. My parents had raised and showed livestock, cats & dogs for many years. I took part in the show dogs when I was very young... I guess that is why when ever I have found a stray or abandoned baby I have always been willing to give it a good home and be a part of the family.

Gwen and lil Kaylee girlie
I am so happy to here from you. *..* Gyspy too... :)
We've really busy too... and truly understand. I may just in fact have a big suprize for Gypsy this next week . Waiting on word about a home I looked at. And absolutely fell in love with it. It would be perfect for Gypsy, I love the yard.
Don't they say the best things happen to you when you don't exspect it coming. The location is exactly where I wanted before I got this home. The timing is perfect too.
But trying not to get over excited yet...... I know God will put us where we need to be. Will trust will always watch over us. It isn't that I am not happy here in town but, it is so much closer to my mother and other family and is out in the country.
will tell you more if the Light shines on us...
Kiss your baby girl for us... Gypsy is waving hi to Kaylee w/ her tail.

Hi Everyone.
Just a note to let you know how well Gypsy is doing. She is doing great!!! We got dolled up again yesterday *..* She does real well letting me bathe her.
She loves walking to the park and playtime. We play "Fetch" and she gets her leash for me when I ask her if she wants to go out. It is so cute.
She has been working over-time on her chew toys lately, though understand at 6 months old they begin the chew stage again... oh boy I don't recall it ever really stopping. But is more intense. lol
Speaking of her teeth, they are so pretty and white. She has a beautiful smile... hehehe < say cheese> She loves cheese too. lol
We talk to ya soon

Hi Paula and Gypsy,
thank you for keeping in touch. I'm still not back up on my blog yet and don't know when i'll have time to get it back up and running. Little Kaylee is just absolutely wonderful and adorable and she's taking up all my extra time. I'm also writing a new book about her and it will be filled with pictures. So that's keeping me busy too. I'm glad things are going so well for you and Gypsy and i'm so proud of you both.

Hi Paula!
Obviously I've been busy too! Lots of work on the house, and with summer just around the corner there have been lots of BBQs and trips to the beach!
Zelda loves the house, she thinks its home now. Her favorite part are the stairs, she'll just run up and down and up and down. I'm sorry the house you wanted didn't work out, you'll find something iI"m sure of it. We didn't think we'd find a decent place, but we did and we love it.
Going to the beach, we discovered Zelda's not a big fan of water. she got so scared when the waves came up close. She loves the and though! She would dig in it for hours if she could.
Don't you miss Gwen's blog? I want to hear all about Kaylee! Gwen, if you're reading this, come back!!! lol
WEll that's all for now. I promise I'll try to update the Zelda blog soon. Sh'es gotten so big, up to 26 lbs. The vet said her weight and body was perfect. She's so athletic and lean, all the little boy puppies must love her! lol. Talk to you soon!
