Now since she is older, approx 6 months, both of her vets believe she has the Lab in her,w/ boarder collie. Alot whose been around her, say they can really see the BC personallity. Very loyal and playful + full of energy. Relatively healthy.

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN

Last night was GYPSYS first day in class. WOW!!! She loved it. She really interacted with the other puppys very well. It is a fairly small class, The trainer is really very thorough and has a beautiful Golden Retriever, his name is Cooper. He is so sweet. He is also on call 24/7 for Search & Rescue.
This my first time ever taking a puppy into classes.... I wish I would have known long time ago of the information and training she has already taught me.
GYPSY hadn't really been to a public place with so many different things in her enviroment before or with so many other doggies. She Was great... She didn't coward to the new stimulation at all. In fact she was the leader in play time... lol she went to greet all the other puppys and those that didn't join in she would slow down and say "Hi." to them again. Getting some of them to join in. I thought that was cute.
She responded well to learning in the very busy surroundings, also. She has been working on her homework too... Me too... I have alot of paper work to read. Commad Names and descriptions, Different teaching games; like the Name Game, Also how important Timing is when training, I am alittle slow so I even have to pratice w/o her ... hehehehe. She responded very well to the clicker, too. I believe we will do ok... She tells me she garantees me this class will help. I already can see a difference. She did like that Gypsy was listening to me before class and after. Made Mommie PROUD. *..*

I also have to Come up with a Command name which will Dismiss her from Traing Time. Know that is a rasy task... But I need to come up with one. It can't be "ok" either, that is to commonly used in our language. I'm still thinking on it.

The trainer says she believed Gypsy would grow up to us a 36" create. So that is what I got for her. I did get a crate because they have the divider in them... Gypsy has done great with house breaking/ and potty training. The divider is used to make the area for the puppy to be in for her to have enough room to lay down in and then she won't go to another area to go potty, inside her kennel.

I best go study while Gypsy is napping.
